The spa Turčianske Teplice offers a wide variety of wellness stays as well as curative stay focused on many indications, especially on kidney and urinary tract diseases. Diseases of digestive and locomotus apparatus as well as neurotic and oncological diseases are also treated here. The spa lies in the central Slovakia in the northwestern part of the hilly region Turiec. It is one of the oldest spa resorts in the country (known since 13. century) and its healing mineral waters, especially suitable for curing kidney and urinary tract diseases, diseases of digestive and locomotus apparatus as well as neurotic and oncological diseases, are used for hydrotherapeutic and drinking procedures. The spa house was fully reconstructed in 2004 and all rooms are equipped with modern comfortable furniture. Each has a SAT TV, radio, telephone, own sanitary facility with bath tub/shower and hair dryer, minibar. Most of the rooms have a balcony; there is also Internet available in the hotel. The clients can choose from single/double rooms or high standard apartments. All rooms have a beautiful view on the nature in the surroundings. The spa house is situated in the center of the spa. There are doctors‘ offices, complete balneotherapy, electrotherapy, and thermal pool with mineral water, and drinkable spring in the building. The price of a curative stay includes accommodation, full board, initial and leavingmedical consultation, 3 healing procedures per day (Mo-Sat) according to doctor´s suggestions. Minimal length of stay is 7 nights. Children have 7x thermal bath. The price of a relax/wellness stay includes accommodation, half-board, initial medical consultation and 2 procedures per day in average (Mo-Sat) according to doctor´s suggestions. The length of stay is 5 days.
