Hotel DIX is situated in the calm part of Železná Ruda, not far to border of the Bohemian Forest, in the proximity of the forest, 10 minutes on foot to the city centre. Ski area Samoty 900m - you can get with your ski there.

The next ski slope is 900m far away from the hotel. For demandings ski runners we advise the German center Arber with cableway, the 9 km from Železná Ruda.
This is a paradies for cyclists (paths for beginners and demanding cyclists too), there are a lot of paths. Art - and open-air swimming pool Zwiezel 10km, wading pool - for families with children.
